Dahi ke Kebab (Dahi Kabab/Dahi ke Kabab) is a restaurant style snack, quite common in Northern parts of India. Dahi ke Kebab Recipe/Dahi Kabab Recipe
Ingredients:
Hung curd 2 cups
Paneer grated 3/4 cup
Processed cheese 1 tablespoon
Onion chopped 1 small sized
Fried onion 1
tablespoon
Green chillies 2 to 3 nos
Ginger 1/2 inch chopped
Besan 1 tablespoon
Garam masala 1 teaspoon
Jeera powder 1/2 teaspoon
Black salt a pinch
Salt to taste
Black pepper a pinch
Fresh mint chopped 1
tablespoon
Fresh coriander chopped 1 tablespoon
Bread crumbs for coating
Oil for shallow fry
Preparation steps:
Put the curd in a muslin cloth and squeeze it to remove
excess water. Hang for 2 hours or overnight.
Take a mixing bowl, add hung curd, grated paneer and
processed cheese. Give a mix.
Now add besan, chopped onion, ginger and green chillies. Mix well and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Take spoonful of mixture and give an oval shape or make a small tikki. Now coat these tikkis with bread crumbs.
In a heavy bottom pan, add two spoon of oil. Shallow fry the tikkis on both sides on medium heat until crisp and golden brown. Or heat oil in a wok or pan, deep fry the tikkis till they turn crispy.
Serve hot Dahi ke Kebab with green chutney or ketchup!
