Ingredients:
Boiled potatoes medium sized 3 to 4 nos
Carrots finely chopped 1 tablespoon
Beans finely chopped 1 tablespoon
Boiled corns kernels ½ tablespoon ( optional )
Bread crumbs 1 tablespoon
Green chillies finely chopped 2 or 3 nos
Cumin powder (Jeera powder) ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon
Black pepper powder 1/3 teaspoon
Chaat masala ½ teaspoon
Cornflour 2 tablespoon
Refined flour 2 tablespoon
Water as required
Bread crumbs to coat
Oil for shallow fry
Salt to taste
Preparation steps for Aloo Tikki:
Take a mixing bowl. Add mashed boiled potatoes, finely chopped carrots, beans, bread crumbs, spices and salt to it. Mix well.
Apply oil on your palms. Shape the tikkis and roll them in bread crumbs. Keep them in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes remove the tikkis and dip the bread crumbs coated tikkis in maida-cornflour slurry. Coat with bread crumbs again.
Shallow fry the tikkis both side in hot oil until it turns golden in colour and keep aside.
Ketchup Mayonnaise sauce:
Ingredients:
Mayonnaise ½ cup
Ketchup 2 tablespoon
Preparation for sauce:
Take a bowl, mix mayonnaise and ketchup
Assemble the burger:
Ingredients:
2 Toasted burger buns
Ketchup Mayonnaise sauce as required
Aloo tikkis
Tomato slices as required
Onion slices as required
To serve:
Place the aloo tikki on the bottom burger bun. Add tomatoes, onions as required and spread the prepared ketchup mayonnaise sauce on top of the burger bun. Close the bun and serve hot.
